J. Lee is Dean and Professor of Management in the Satish & Yasmin Gupta College of Business at the University of Dallas. He focuses his teaching, research, and consulting in the areas of Leadership, Organizational Behavior, and Spiritual Leadership.

Prior to joining the University of Dallas, he served on the faculty at Texas Wesleyan University and The University of Texas at Arlington. He has received multiple awards his excellence in teaching and research. While at UTA he was twice recognized as the Outstanding Undergraduate Professor and nominated for The Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching. At Wesleyan, J. Lee was named the MBA Professor of the Year, received the Heads Above the Crowd award, and named a Guardian of the Golden Shears.

He attended Austin College where he graduated with a BA in Economics and Political Science. He received his MBA and Ph.D. (Organizational Behavior) from The University of Texas at Arlington. J. Lee and his wife Laura have four children and six precious grandchildren.

Dr. Stephen Kiser is the Director of Research with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation’s Division of Insurance and Research.  In this role, Stephen manages the research and analysis of a talented group of economists and financial analysts. Stephen has worked at the FDIC for over 25 years and has extensive experience identifying, monitoring, and addressing existing and emerging aggregate risks to the U.S. banking industry. 

Stephen has authored several articles that have appeared in the Journal of Cooperatives and the Journal of Agricultural Lending as well as numerous industry specific publications. 

Stephen has been teaching at the university level for more than 15 years. He currently teaches in the executive education department at the University of Texas at Dallas Naveen Jindal School of Management where he has been named teacher of the year five times since 2016.  His expertise and entertaining lecture style make him a favorite speaker at many state and national conferences each year.

Kendall spent 10 years in public accounting starting off as an auditor at KPMG, then CFO of the largest H&R Block Franchise ever with 630 offices, CFO of Tony Roma’s with 150 restaurants in 30 countries, CFO of the largest Dental chain in DFW with 45 offices, CFO of Snelling staffing with 80 offices and currently the CFO of Vandelay Hospitality which owns 12 brands of upscale restaurants in multiple states. He was DBJ CFO of the Year in 2014, DCEO Outstanding CFO in 2015 and named in the DCEO Dallas 500 in 2016.  He has spoken multiple times on topics like the CFO Roundtable, Body Language, Positive Psychology, and the Subconscious Mind at Work over the past 20 years.

Russell Mills is the regional executive of the Pittsburgh Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland.
He is responsible for managing relationships with regional stakeholders, monitoring the region’s
economic environment, and speaking to regional audiences on national and regional economic
conditions. Additionally, he participates in briefings that support the Bank president’s role on the
Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC). He also manages the Bank’s relationships with the Pittsburgh
Branch’s board of directors and business advisory councils in southwest Pennsylvania and northern
West Virginia, northwest Pennsylvania, the Shenango and Mahoning valleys, and northwest Ohio.

Dr. Mills joined the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland in 2023. Prior to taking on his current role, he
oversaw the Center for Regional Development at Bowling Green State University, leading a team in
economic, community, and workforce development projects across 31 counties in northwestern Ohio.
Prior to his time at the center, Dr. Mills was an associate professor of political science at BGSU and a
policy analyst at the Federal Aviation Administration in Washington D.C.

A native of Pittsburgh, he holds a BA in political science from Westminster College, a Master of Public of
Administration from the University of Vermont, and a PhD in political science from Kent State University.
Russ serves on the boards of Trying Together and the Pennsylvania Economic Association. He is a
graduate of Leadership Pittsburgh.

J.R. is a market director with PNC Institutional Asset Management®, leading a team of experienced investment, client service and sales professionals. His team members are responsible for sales, implementation, ongoing client services, and providing innovative and effective asset management solutions to both prospects and clients. 

During his travels across the investments industry, J.R. Martin has accumulated an unusual set of skills and perspectives. He has served alongside entrepreneurs and industry pioneers where he learned and refined industry best practices. He has directly managed portfolios for institutions, family offices, and other private investors. Since the early 2000s, his responsibilities have focused on macro research, asset allocation, portfolio design and implementation, and fund manager selection with an emphasis on alternative investment strategies. Throughout, he has performed as a subject matter expert, educating clients directly while also equipping colleagues for effective client engagements. J.R.'s personal operating philosophy: “Go where the research leads and avoid being dogmatic.” Essentially, that ethos equates to continuous learning and adapting to an ever-evolving environment. For most of the last 20 years, J.R. worked at Graystone Consulting, the institutional division of Morgan Stanley. More recently, he operated Martin Advisory & Consulting Services as founder/CEO. 

J.R. graduated with a Master of Business Administration in economics from The University of Chicago, Booth School of Business and with a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Wheaton College. J.R. holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation. In terms of community involvement, J.R. serves as an investment committee member for a nonprofit that provides meals and other services to the elderly across Central Texas.

Steven D. González is regional president of PNC Bank, Austin. In this role, he has direct oversight of business development, building and maintaining client relationships and leading philanthropic initiatives in support of the Austin community. 

González currently serves as market leader for PNC's Corporate Banking business in Austin and will continue in the role in addition to the regional president position. 

With more than 18 years of financial industry experience in Austin, González's background includes a range of middle market and corporate banking roles, with responsibilities that included credit analysis, treasury management and business development. 

As the market leader for Corporate Banking, he and his team help companies with annual revenue greater than $50 million grow their businesses while delivering best-in-class banking products and services, along with well-informed and timely advice to help them accomplish their business goals. 

He prioritizes community involvement and is an active participant in the region currently serving on the board of Opportunity Austin, Austin Theatre Alliance, The Contemporary Austin, Austin PBS, the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM) and the Andy Roddick Foundation Leadership Council. 

González received a Bachelor of Business Administration specializing in accounting and finance from The University of Texas at El Paso.

David is a Partner with McKonly & Asbury. He has been an integral part of our firm for over 20 years, serving our clients in a variety of information technology and accounting capacities. David’s expertise and service focus areas include SOC for Service Organizations, SOC for Cybersecurity, HITRUST, CMMC, forensic accounting, internal controls and security testing, data extraction, and improved efficiency through the application of technology.

David’s specialized IT experience not only serves our clients, but our team as well. He has maintained advanced certifications and has experience with various server operating systems; VMware and enterprise accounting systems; as well as core networking experience at the switch and router level.

David is an avid hunter and enjoys mechanical problem solving. He enjoys hiking with his wife, Kelly.
