We are very pleased to be featuring "The Hand Crafted Wines From OC’s Own Steve Zotovich" at our next FEIOC Wine Affinity Group Wine Dinner.
And, we are excited to have with us for the evening Steve Zotovich, Owner, and Nicole Zotovich Duffield, his daughter and Vice President of Sales and Marketing, from the winery. Steve and Nicole both reside in Orange County. Before purchasing the current vineyard, Steve’s focus was on commercial real estate investment. However, his passion for wine eventually led him in a new direction.
Zotovich Vineyards & Winery is located in the middle of the northern Santa Rita Hills AVA between Buellton and Lompoc. The vineyard was purchased in 2004 with the first estate wines produced 2 years later. The vineyard was first planted in the late 1990's almost entirely to Italian varieties and is now grafted over to Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah, Viognier, and Grenache.
Wines made from Zotovich Vineyards fruit all start with high quality and the upmost dedication to care. Once leaving the vineyard, wine production branches out from their affordable and delectable “ZOTO” brand to their core Zotovich wines featuring all of their current varietals.
Their peak achievement of excellence for each vintage is represented in the distinguished “Z” labels which are small production Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Syrah wines of the highest quality.
The quality reputation of their vineyard is evident and further demonstrated by the fact that they sell some of their grapes to other top quality producers in the Santa Rita Hills AVA.
We will be pouring a delicious array of 8 wines that will focus on the “Z” label. These will include the full array of their Chardonnay, Viognier, Pinot Noir, Grenache and Syrah varietals.
These amazing wines will be perfectly paired with an accompanying 5-course gourmet dinner from one of Orange County’s top caterers!
