As an accomplished finance professional with a proven history of providing significant cost reductions through innovative financial process re-design, implementation of global automation techniques, and streamlining existing financial processes., Tim has expertise in developing global finance processes, transitioning shared services to Global Business Services (GBS) and leading global transformative initiatives across many industry sectors.
Over the past 10 years, Tim has successfully led and delivered multiple engagements involving the standardization and simplification of the monthly close process, supporting finance practices and reporting, including introduction of process automation to reduce the use of manual activities and automate report generation and distribution.
Prior to joining RGP, Tim spent 10+ years at Cummins, Inc. in various executive roles including Director of Internal Controls and Development, Director of Finance Functional Excellence for Shared Service (Asia Pac), Finance Integration/Carve Out Leader for Business Strategy (M&A) and most recently led the global finance transformation initiative for Intercompany Accounting as Global Director of Intercompany Transformation.
During his tenure at Cummins, Tim led numerous improvement initiatives, including but not limited to, the improvement of annual standard cost development for the Manufacturing segment, freight consolidation initiatives within the Distribution, Sales and Service segment, global process standardization initiatives with Shared Services, and implemented new technology platforms within Corporate Accounting to aggregate and manage their global lease population.
