Highlighting the National Juneteenth Museum
Jarred Howard is chief executive officer and lead developer of the National Juneteenth Museum. A Fort Worth native, Jarred holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of North Texas and a Master of Business Administration degree from Dallas Baptist University. Jarred launched his career in JP Morgan- Chase’s consumer banking division and later led marketing teams at DaimlerChrysler Financial Services. In 2006, Jarred commenced a 12-year stay at BNSF Railway, where he oversaw a $2B customer portfolio before assuming leadership of their economic development efforts in the southeastern US . In 2018, Jarred became a department head at the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce and in 2020, he was recruited to lead Bell Textron’s external affairs division, where he stayed until assuming his current assignment in April 2023. Jarred’s hobbies include international travel and studying the residual impact of the African diaspora.

2026 Economic and Market Outlook
Speaker: Scott Anderson, Ph.D.
Chief U.S. Economist, Managing Director, BMO Capital Markets
Scott Anderson analyzes and forecasts U.S. national and regional economic trends, and regularly authors reports on prominent U.S. economic issues, monetary policy actions, and bank lending and credit conditions. He also spearheads periodic regional outlook reports on California and other regions.
Scott has been consistently recognized as one of the Top economic forecasters in the U.S. and was named the Most Accurate Forecaster by the National Association for Business Economics for 2019.
He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Commonwealth Club of California. He is Co-Chair of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association Economist Roundtable. He was appointed Chairman of the American Bankers Association Economic Advisory Committee in 2012 and has served on the Committee since 2004. In 2015, he was appointed to the California Council of Economic Advisors. He has also been a member of Stanford’s Institute for Economic Policy Research (SEIPR) since 2012.
Prior to joining BMO, Scott was the Chief Economist at Bank of the West, and prior to that, a Senior Economist at Wells Fargo and Wells Fargo Securities. He has also held positions at Moody’s Analytics and the IMF.
