As AI capabilities accelerate, finance leaders are being pushed to move faster – deploy agents, automate workflows, compress decision cycles – while still answering hard questions about governance, accountability, and which decisions should stay human. This session works through that tension directly.
Rather than a panel or a product demo, the event is a hands-on working session: small groups mapping real workflows, weighing implementation tradeoffs, and pressure-testing where the human + agent line should fall. The goal isn't to predict the future of finance work – it's to give a focused group the space to do the hard thinking and collaboratively navigate what comes next.
The session will be led and facilitated by Sandra Bustos, Co-Founder and CEO of Meshly.
This is the first in a planned series of working sessions, and we're intentionally keeping this pilot small. Attendance is reserved for FEI SFBA members to keep the groups tight and the conversation focused.
