Educator’s Night and Student Awards Dinner at Heritage Hills Resort in York, PA!
FEI Central Pennsylvania Chapter is proud to announce the recipients of the scholarship awards, who are an outstanding group of students. They have excelled academically and pursued a variety of interests and activities outside of the classroom. We are grateful to our sponsors for the generous support that enables us to offer these awards. A panel discussion on “Evolving as a CPA: Skills, Leadership & Future of the Profession” will feature Amanda (Paolini) Fiel, Manager at Pennsylvania CPA Foundation, as moderator. Panelists include Joe Kinek, Assurance Audit Manager at Baker Tilly US LLP; Samantha Besnoff, CPA and podcast influencer at Your Financial Maven; and Alex Papoutsis from Digital Audit Implementation at Info.
What you can learn by attending
During this session, panelists will share insights on how CPA career paths are evolving and highlight emerging opportunities within the accounting profession. They will discuss what differentiates strong candidates in today’s hiring environment, including the growing importance of communication skills, adaptability, and openness to new technologies such as AI.
The conversation will also explore generational differences in the workplace and how firms can better align expectations around flexibility, feedback, and career growth. Panelists will also address the role of mentorship, especially in a hybrid environment, and offer advice to early-career CPAs on building relationships, staying adaptable, and positioning themselves for long-term success.
