This session will begin with a timely market update on hiring trends, talent availability, and compensation dynamics across finance and accounting.

The finance talent landscape continues to evolve rapidly, with shifting candidate expectations, persistent skill gaps, and increased pressure on leaders to build agile, high-performing teams. Looking ahead, the next 3–5 years are expected to bring continued constraints in talent supply, changing workforce models, and a growing need for finance organizations to do more with leaner, more specialized teams.

This session brings together industry perspectives to explore how finance leaders are navigating today’s hiring environment while preparing for what’s ahead. We will discuss the structural talent gap across finance and accounting, how in-demand skill sets are evolving, and what this means for team design, retention strategies, and leadership decision-making. Attendees will gain practical insights into current market conditions, future workforce dynamics, and how interim and contract resources can be leveraged to bridge gaps, manage change, and maintain continuity in an increasingly complex environment.

  • The emerging 3–5 year outlook for finance talent and workforce models.
  • In-demand skills, role shortages, and structural talent gap challenges.
