Summary of experience
Travis began his public accounting career in 2004 with RSM. He has advised numerous industrial products, consumer products, and software and technology companies on various corporate tax matters, including corporate reorganizations and accounting methods and periods. In connection with his client service efforts, Travis leads tax engagement teams while working with his clients’ management teams to arrive at the optimum tax solution. Additionally, he is active in the firm’s San Diego tax practice recruiting efforts and is an advisor to several up-and-coming tax associates.
Notable experience includes the following:
• Diverse experience serving both public, private and foreign direct investment companies in a variety of industries including industrial products, consumer products, technology, manufacturing and wholesale distribution
• Significant experience with FASB Accounting Standards Codification (ASC) Topic 740 including assisting with the purchase accounting for billion-dollar transactions, reviewing multinational tax provisions and analyzing uncertain tax positions
• Champions the firm’s One Source tax provision practice in Southern California
