Ready to try something a little different? Join us for a fun and interactive evening of curling, networking, food, and drinks!
Never curled before? No problem! No prior experience is needed. Instructors will be there to cover the basics, including safety, throwing, sweeping, and how the game works.
We'll start with about 30 minutes of instruction and practice to give everyone a chance to get comfortable on the ice. After that, we'll break into teams for some friendly games and a little competition. You may even hear the word “Bonspiel” thrown around—that's the traditional curling term for a tournament!
Not planning to spend the whole evening on the ice? That's okay, too. There will be a warm viewing room where you can take a break, grab a drink, watch the action, and catch up with other attendees.
What to Wear
Keep it comfortable! Athletic clothes or other comfortable, flexible clothing and clean running shoes are recommended. Rubber grippers will be provided and are required on the ice.
Food & Drinks
Food and refreshments will be available, along with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in the warm room.
Accessibility & Safety
Safety instruction will be provided before curling begins. The facility can also accommodate different mobility levels, including the use of a delivery stick for anyone who isn't comfortable with the traditional curling lunge.
Attendees who choose to participate in curling will be asked to sign a waiver onsite before going on the ice.
Free parking is available onsite.
Come out, try something new, and enjoy a fun evening with the FEI Colorado community. We hope to see you there!
