Gretchen has extensive experience addressing the business and tax needs of a wide variety of clients. Currently she focuses on serving consumer products and health care/life sciences companies, many of which are owned by private equity. She joined RSM after many years with a Big Four firm.
As an experienced account leader, Gretchen leads engagement teams to address the broad business advisory needs of clients by gaining a deep understanding of their enterprise. As client challenges or service needs are identified, Gretchen collaborates with RSM leaders – industry and technical – across the Firm to bring the right experience and solutions to clients. To be effective in this role requires broad business experience and knowledge of RSM services.
Gretchen has focused on business tax matters for many years, including impact of tax law changes, restructuring, expansion, mergers and acquisitions. Working with private equity means buyside and sell-side transaction issues are common. She works with many global clients to address operation and accounting challenges, accounting for income taxes, executive compensation, tax examinations and global tax planning.
In recent years Gretchen held several leadership roles with RSM including enterprise account leader, office managing partner, tax consulting leader, and corporate tax leader.
