Eric Mahler is a senior executive, board advisor, and founder with more than 30 years of experience working alongside finance leaders, executive teams, and boards as they navigate growth, transition, and increasing complexity. His career spans Fortune 500 companies, founder-led enterprises, private equity environments, and global investment platforms, with deep exposure to governance, capital allocation, technology, and enterprise risk. Eric is the Founder of Aretos Advisory, an international consulting firm that advises organizations on decision quality, leadership systems, and AI-era transformation and governance.
Previously, Eric founded and led Fulcrum Consulting, building it into a national services firm before completing a successful private exit. He is also a Senior Advisor and Partner to Alpine Wolf Capital, where he helped establish governance, capital formation, and operational infrastructure for institutional investors. Earlier in his career, Eric held senior roles at Merrill Lynch, Bank of America, Cap Gemini, Southwest Airlines, Northwest Airlines, and Deluxe Corporation. He currently advises organizations on governance, strategic clarity, decision quality, and execution, helping translate complexity into disciplined action and measurable results during periods of growth, transition, and disruption. He is completing his forthcoming book, The Center of the Compass: A Guide to the Power of Steady Leadership in an Age of Disruption.
