Steve Wyett earned a bachelor's degree in finance from Oklahoma State University and began his investment career in the early ‘80s as an institutional bond salesman for First National Bank of Oklahoma City. He remained in institutional bond sales until the late '90s when he joined Tom Johnston Investment Management Inc. as their head equity trader and fixed income SMA manager. While there, he attained his CFA Charter and was an analyst, investment committee member and portfolio manager. After 40 years across multiple asset classes and different positions, Steve appreciates that the changing markets always provide opportunities to learn. He is past president of the board for Family and Children's Services in Tulsa, an active participant in the Tulsa Area United Way, is the immediate past President of the Oklahoma Chapter of the CFA Society and is a member of multiple societies of financial analysts as well as the CFA institute. As a former collegiate tennis player, Steve enjoys visiting New York for the U.S. Open tennis tournament and dining in the fabulous restaurants found in the city. In his free time, he can be found ruining a good walk by playing a game of golf and traveling with his wife.

Don Mayer is a Professor of the Practice of Business Ethics & Legal Studies at Daniels College of Business, University of Denver (DU), where he teaches business ethics and corporate responsibility, law and public policy, business and global values, and international business law. He has published numerous academic articles on business ethics, business and society, international law, and environmental law. With Jim O’Toole, he co-edited Good Business: Exercising Effective and Ethical Leadership (Taylor and Francis, 2009). He came to DU from Oakland University in 2007, where he was Professor of Management at the School of Business Administration. He is the primary co-author on several textbooks, including Business Law and the Legal Environment (FlatWorld Knowledge Publications), International Business Law: Cases and Materials (Pearson/Prentice Hall), and Essentials of the Legal Environment of Business. His blog, Perfectly Legal but Wrong, explores how much of what is “perfectly legal” is nonetheless morally wrong. After serving with the U.S. Air Force, Don had an active law practice in North Carolina (1975 – 1984) and then pursued a post-graduate law degree in international and comparative law from Georgetown University Law School, graduating in 1985.

As a manager with Plante Moran’s international tax services practice, Megan serves a variety of clients, both domestic and international, in the manufacturing and distribution, services, and technology industries. She has more than eight years of professional experience aiding clients on both inbound and outbound tax planning, cross-border withholding, structuring, and regulatory tax compliance. Megan belongs to professional associations such as the AICPA and Colorado Society of CPAs. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Professional Accountancy from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Steve is a leader in Plante Moran’s international tax services group; he assists clients with all of their cross-border tax needs. His expertise includes international sports and entertainment, cross-border tax planning, global expansion projects, U.S. foreign tax credit planning, repatriation planning, the U.S. anti-deferral regime, and the U.S. withholding tax regime. His clients are both publicly and privately held businesses in the high-tech, manufacturing, distribution, professional services, energy, and telecom industries. Steve belongs to the AICPA, the Colorado Society of CPAs, and is a board member with Global Chamber Denver. He received his B.S.B.A. in accounting and finance from Tulane University where he graduated magna cum laude.

Dustin has practiced public accounting since 2015. He works with middle market businesses on the preparation and filing of US income tax compliance, assists with the preparation and review of ASC 740 tax disclosures, and consults with business on issues of domestic tax. Dustin focuses on bringing value by delivering quality and timely services while building meaningful business relationships with his clients and their advisors.
