Jaime Dircksen has dedicated more than two decades of her career to advancing public health, health equity, and community well-being, with a particular focus on improving outcomes and expanding access to services for vulnerable populations. Throughout her career, she has led teams and large-scale initiatives designed to address systemic barriers, strengthen communities, and create more equitable systems of care.
Jaime joined Pittsburgh Mercy, one of the largest community health and social service organizations in Southwestern Pennsylvania, as President and CEO in August 2025. She previously served on Pittsburgh Mercy’s Board of Directors beginning in 2022. As President and CEO, she provides strategic leadership and operational direction across Pittsburgh Mercy’s broad continuum of services, including behavioral health, intellectual and developmental disabilities services, homeless services, and community services.
Prior to joining Pittsburgh Mercy, Jaime served as Vice President of Community Health & Well-Being at Trinity Health, where she led initiatives focused on integrating social care into health care, advancing health equity, strengthening community partnerships, and driving community transformation. She joined Trinity Health in 2016 as Director of its Community Health Institute before advancing to executive leadership.
Earlier in her career, Jaime spent five years as Deputy Commissioner at the Chicago Department of Public Health and seven years with Chicago Public Schools, building extensive experience at the intersection of public health, education, policy, and community development. Her career has been defined by a commitment to cross-sector partnerships and innovative approaches to improving health and well-being for vulnerable populations.
Jaime earned her master’s degree from the University of Chicago’s School of Social Service Administration.
