Steve Dorgan is Executive Managing Director in the Savills Minneapolis office, where he leads a team that develops innovative solutions for their clients’ commercial real estate challenges, ranging from strategic facility planning through to execution with expertise in virtually all aspects of commercial real estate service lines.
Steve has over 30 years of experience in commercial real estate. Prior to joining Savills, Steve was the Managing Principal for Cresa Minneapolis, where he served as its President, and oversaw the project management group. He has an exceptional level of knowledge and experience in areas such as site selection, governmental entitlement, project financing, budget management, programming, vendor selection, contract negotiation, design evaluation, development, construction, and relocation management.
Steve has been recognized throughout his professional career for his accomplishments. In 2009, Steve was selected as one of 40 under 40 leaders from the Minneapolis St Paul Business Journal. Additionally, in 2013 he was honored to accept the Minnesota Business Ethics Award on behalf of what is now Savills Minneapolis. The award acknowledges business practices that exemplify high standards of ethical conduct in the workplace, the marketplace, and the community.
Steve holds a Bachelors degree in Urban Studies, Economics and Geography from the University of Minnesota – Duluth, and is a lifetime learner, including post-graduate course work in Urban Planning from Minnesota State - Mankato.
