The AI-Powered Finance Leader: Reclaiming your day with AI through smarter and faster analytics, research, people management, information gathering, content creation, decision making, resource allocation, and storytelling.

Learning Objectives:

  • Shift Your Mindset and Boost Productivity: Understand AI as a major opportunity to eliminate time-consuming administrative "drudgery" and free up time for high-value work, moving the focus from "Back Office" tasks (data gathering, cleaning) to "High Impact" activities (insight, decision making, strategy).
  • Understand AI scenarios for everyday use:  Find simple low-hanging-fruit examples of how to use AI in your everyday role as a finance professional from research, content creation, information synthesis, communication, data analysis and many more.
  • Practice Responsible and Grounded AI Use: Learn to use source-grounded AI to mitigate the risk of hallucinations and ensure data accuracy. Understand and adhere to Alphabet's data security guidelines, including the classification of tools and the responsible handling of Finance Need-to-Know (NTK) data.
  • Define AI's Role in the Finance Workflow: Clarify that AI serves as a powerful "intern" to augment speed and analysis, but it does not replace the human need for judgment, intuition, relationships, and ultimate accountability for decisions.
