Finance professional members of FEI Indianapolis continuously sharpen their fraud prevention skills.  John Carney, head of Commercial Bank Operational Risk with Key Bank is going to help them do just that at FEI Indianapolis meeting on January 22nd at Meridian Hills Country Club:  Financial Fraud – Mitigating Risk.  Since finance pros are so good at fraud prevention, many are not totally prepared for immediate response when fraud is actually detected.  John Carney is going to especially share his experience around what first emergent steps must be taken.  PLUS, we will get a special show and tell from Aron Thompson, a polygraph expert with the Indiana Polygraph Association to explore how that fascinating technology might be put to use during a fraud investigation.  He will show us equipment from the world’s leading supplier and trainer of polygraph from Lafayette Instrument Company, based right here in Indiana!

Learning Objectives:

  • Fraud Schemes to be on the lookout for.
  • How to Protect yourself from falling victim.
  • If you do fall victim, what do you do and what can you expect?

*Individuals who register as a Qualified Prospective Member must meet FEI's Membership Qualifications.
