This presentation will explore Centerfield Capital’s hybrid private credit and private equity investment strategy and how its flexibility can support acquisitions, ownership transitions, recapitalizations, and growth within lower middle market U.S. businesses.

Attendees will learn how combining contractual debt returns with equity upside can create multiple sources of investment value while balancing current income, downside protection, and long-term appreciation. The discussion will also examine the role of disciplined underwriting, thoughtful investment structures, and strong relationships with sponsors, business owners, and management teams.

The presentation will also provide an overview of the Small Business Investment Company (SBIC) program, including how privately raised capital and SBA-guaranteed leverage work together to expand investment capacity. Drawing on Centerfield Capital’s experience across six funds, attendees will gain insight into the benefits of the SBIC structure, regulatory and operational requirements, and how investment strategy and effective fund management can support long-term success.
