Join UHY's Resource Solutions Group to understand how your natural behaviors impact who you are as a leader, and begin to cultivate a personal blueprint for success as a financial executive in a leadership role. Utilizing the DISC assessment, you'll be able to identify your strengths, weaknesses, and talents to gain a deeper understanding of who you are as a leader and how to grow those inherent skills.
Learning Objectives:
- Interpret your individual assessment results across three key dimensions: Behaviors, Motivators, and Attributes (thinking and thought patterns), and understand how each influences your leadership style.
- Identify your “zone of maximum performance” by recognizing where your natural behaviors, motivations, and talents align and where misalignment may create friction or limit effectiveness.
- Recognize potential leadership blind spots that may become increasingly important as your careers evolve from technical expertise toward leading people, influencing stakeholders, and making decisions under pressure.
- Apply your insights to real-world leadership situations, including communication, collaboration, decision-making, conflict, and managing or influencing others.
- Develop a personal roadmap for growth by identifying strengths to leverage and one or two areas to intentionally develop as they prepare for their next level of leadership.
To make the session as valuable and personalized as possible, participants will complete an individual DISC assessment in advance of the event.
After registering, you will receive an email invitation with a link to complete your assessment. Please set aside approximately 30 minutes to complete it in one sitting and respond based on how you naturally think and operate rather than how you believe you should respond.
Please complete your assessment no later than October 9 so your results are available for the session.
Your assessment will provide insight into three areas:
- Behaviors – how you tend to communicate, interact, respond, and approach situations.
- Motivators – what drives your decisions, engagement, and energy.
- Attributes – how you think, process information, and approach problems and decisions.
During the session, we’ll help you understand how to interpret these results and, more importantly, how to use them. The goal is not to give you a label or put you into a personality “box.” Instead, you’ll use the data to better understand what comes naturally to you, where you may encounter friction, and what you can intentionally leverage or develop as your leadership responsibilities grow.
