Sterling L. Henton, famously known as Sterl The Pearl®, is a true powerhouse of talent and leadership. Born in Passaic, New Jersey, Sterling’s love for music started at just 8 years old when he DJed for his sixth-grade class. Beyond his musical roots, Sterling Henton excelled as the quarterback for the University of Tennessee Volunteers, leading his team to four bowl victories and two SEC Championships.
His leadership extended off the field, serving as president of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity and founding Club 90 on WUTK radio. After college, Sterling transitioned into a successful TV and radio career, co-hosting popular shows like “The Sports Source” and “6 Sports Sunday.” His magnetic personality also landed him acting roles in “Empire,” “Nashville,” and “All Eyez on Me.” As an entrepreneur, He served as VP of Marketing for Warner Brothers before founding Rev it uP, LLC. Today, as a motivational speaker and DJ, Sterling Henton continues to inspire and uplift audiences with his infectious energy and commitment to positivity.
