Join FEI for an engaging program designed to bring finance professionals together for professional development, meaningful insights, and connection. The event will feature a Professional Development session, interactive speed networking, and a keynote presentation from Shirin Behzadi, offering attendees opportunities to learn, exchange ideas, and build connections with fellow finance leaders.
Speed Networking
Get ready to make new connections! Attendees will participate in a series of 10-minute networking rounds designed to provide an opportunity to meet and engage with different finance professionals throughout the session.
How It Works:
- Select a high-top table with up to five attendees.
- At the beginning of each 10-minute round, each person at the table will select a number from 1 to 5.
- When the timer ends and the bell rings, move forward clockwise by the exact number of tables indicated by the number you selected. For example, if you select a “3” at Table A, you will move three tables ahead to Table D. Please leave your number behind at the table before moving.
- Once you arrive at your new table, select a new number for the next round.
- The process will repeat for each networking round, giving you the opportunity to connect with a new group of attendees.
Join us for our Keynote Session: "Are You Prepared to Be an “Unexpected CEO?”
The path to the corner office doesn’t always follow a predictable script. Drawing on her own journey from gas station cashier to billion-dollar CEO, Shirin Behzadi will show CFOs and rising executives how to navigate unexpected leadership transitions and turn adversity into a superpower rather than a setback.
Shirin will share a practical roadmap for stepping into new roles, including building trust across teams who once saw you as a peer, creating meaningful change while honoring what already works, and pursuing a bold vision through uncertainty with resilience.
Attendees will gain practical insights for developing executive presence, navigating the challenges of transformation, and reframing hardship as a training ground that can prepare CFOs for leadership opportunities they may never have expected.
